Write-minded is now Memoir Nation

Since 2018, Brooke Warner and Grant Faulkner have been cohosting Write-minded: Weekly Inspiration for Writers. Write-minded has a writing and community focus, and almost always an interview with an author or industry professional. Guests on the show include such literary luminaries as Viet Thanh Nguyen, Kiese Laymon, Edwidge Danticat, R.O. Kwon, Deesha Philyaw, Xochitl Gonzalez, Dani Shapiro, Tayari Jones, Rachel Cusk, Nicole Chung, Anne Patchett, Maggie Smith, Jacqueline Woodson, Mary Karr, A.M. Homes, Elizabeth Acevedo, Gish Jen, Pico Iyer, and Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah, Elizabeth Gilbert, and many others.

In 2025, Brooke and Grant rebranded Write-minded to become Memoir Nation. Memoir Nation will continue in the same vein as Write-minded, just with a refined focus on personal story and memoir. Memoir Nation podcast is also an extension of the Memoir Nation community, and we invite you to come visit and to become a member!

On this site, we’ve archived all our previous shows. Anything on the episode tab is a past Write-minded episode. All new episodes will live on Memoir Nation’s various feeds.
